Aircraft Spirals Wildly into Palm Fronds at Frequented Southern California Beach
A chopper hovering near a crowded southern California coastline unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, eventually dropping height and smashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers looked on.
Videos uploaded online depict the aircraft commencing to spiral near Huntington Beach then descending towards the border of the beach, where it ends up lodged between palm groves and a set of stairs close to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Update
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five persons were taken to hospital involving two who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the pavement were harmed. Information on their injuries were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.

Authorities said the aircraft was associated with an regular “Cars with Copters” benefit occasion scheduled for the following day.
